History
The 2020/21 season was Napoli's second season under Gennaro Gattuso. Napoli were competing in Serie A, the Europa League and Coppa Italia.
Serie A: 5th place, with 77 points.
Coppa Italia: Napoli were the defending champions, having won the 2019/20 competition.
Europa League: Napoli reached the round of 32, where they were eliminated by Granada.
Manager: Gennaro Gattuso.
Captain: Lorenzo Insigne.
A particularly memorable moment came in November 2020 when Napoli wore a special Argentina-inspired fourth shirt against Roma, commemorating the connection between Diego Maradona and the city. Maradona had died only days earlier.
At the end of the season Napoli narrowly missed Champions League qualification, finishing fifth.
Key players
Lorenzo Insigne – Captain and one of Napoli's principal attacking players. The Italy international was a central figure in Gattuso's side.
Dries Mertens – Experienced Belgian forward and one of the club's most important goalscorers.
Victor Osimhen – Nigerian striker who joined from Lille in 2020 for a club-record transfer fee and became an important part of the attack.
Hirving Lozano – Mexican winger/forward who had an increasingly important role in the attack.
Fabián Ruiz – Spanish midfielder and one of Napoli's principal technical players.
Kalidou Koulibaly – Experienced Senegalese centre-back and defensive leader.
Piotr Zieliński – Polish midfielder who provided creativity and goals from midfield.
David Ospina / Alex Meret – The two principal goalkeepers during the campaign.
2020/21 home shirt
The shirt was manufactured by Kappa, which was in its sixth consecutive season as Napoli's technical supplier.
The standard home shirt was sky blue with navy detailing, including the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. It used Kappa's Kombat Pro construction.
One of the most distinctive details was the red Lete sponsor. Lete had traditionally appeared in white on Napoli shirts, but for 2020/21 it changed to red. MSC appeared in white underneath.
The shirt also carried the Coppa Italia winners' coccarda following Napoli's 2019/20 Coppa Italia victory. On the player/Authentic version, the shirt used the tighter Kombat skin-fit construction and transfer-style crest and Kappa logos.

You have 7 days from delivery to request a return. The shirt must come back unworn and in the same condition it was sent, with all tags intact. Return postage is paid by the buyer. Once the shirt is received and checked, we refund the full purchase price. We do not accept refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing. We check construction, neck and wash labels, stitching, sponsor and badge application, and the manufacturer product code against period-correct examples. Only shirts that pass are photographed, graded and added to the Vault. If a shirt is not an authentic original, we do not sell it.
Condition and sizing
These shirts are vintage, aged and normally used, so they will almost always show some degree of wear. Each listing carries a condition grade out of ten and any notable fault is called out in the description. Sizing on older shirts differs from modern sizing — always go by the pit-to-pit and length measurements listed, not the size on the label.
