History
Germany's 2012 campaign centred on UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, under manager Joachim Löw.
Germany qualified for the tournament with a perfect record and then won all three Group B matches, defeating Portugal, the Netherlands and Denmark. They beat Greece 4–2 in the quarter-final, before losing 2–1 to Italy in the semi-final.
Spain ultimately won EURO 2012, beating Italy 4–0 in the final.
