History
The Leeds United 2019/20 home shirt is one of the most significant Leeds shirts of the modern era. It was worn during the season when Marcelo Bielsa finally took Leeds back to the Premier League after 16 years away.
Also 2019/20 was Leeds' centenary season, and the club finally achieved what the previous Bielsa campaign had narrowly missed.
After finishing third in 2018/19 and losing dramatically to Derby County in the play-offs, Bielsa's Leeds came back stronger.

Leeds won the title by 10 points and secured promotion to the Premier League, ending a 16-year absence from the top flight.
The season was interrupted by COVID-19 in March 2020, with the Championship eventually resuming in June. Leeds then secured promotion on 17 July 2020 and were confirmed as champions the following day.
So this isn't simply a shirt from a successful Championship team — it's the shirt of the Leeds promotion season.

The leading goalscorer. Bamford scored 16 Championship goals, making him Leeds' top scorer as they won the title. He also made 43 league starts.
He became a hugely important figure in Bielsa's system, particularly with his movement and pressing.
Kalvin Phillips — No. 23
By this point Phillips had become the midfield anchor of Bielsa's team.
He made 37 league starts, and his transformation from academy midfielder into a deep-lying defensive midfielder was one of the defining tactical stories of the Bielsa era.
Stuart Dallas — No. 15
One of the great unsung heroes.
Dallas made 45 Championship appearances, starting 45, and scored five goals. His versatility — playing full-back, midfield and further forward — made him extremely valuable to Bielsa.
Ben White — No. 5
White was on loan from Brighton and became an enormous part of Leeds' promotion campaign. He made 46 starts, more than anyone else, and was central to the team's defensive record.
Liam Cooper — No. 6 The captain.
Cooper made 36 league starts and was the man who eventually lifted the Championship trophy for Leeds. The club specifically notes that he followed previous championship-winning captains such as Bobby Collins and Gordon Strachan.
Mateusz Klich — No. 43
Another essential Bielsa midfielder. Klich made 45 appearances, scoring six and assisting five. His No. 43 is also visually distinctive and immediately associated with the Bielsa era.
