History
The 2011/12 Real Madrid season is remembered as one of the greatest domestic campaigns in the club's history. Managed by José Mourinho, Madrid won their 32nd La Liga title, ending Barcelona's three-year dominance.
They clinched the title on 2 May 2012, beating Athletic Club 3–0 at San Mamés, with goals from Gonzalo Higuaín, Mesut Özil and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Why the 2011/12 team matters
The 2011/12 side was significant because it wasn't simply a team that won La Liga—it destroyed the existing statistical benchmarks. Madrid became the first team in Spanish league history to reach 100 points, scored 121 goals, won 32 matches and won 16 away games.
And the victory had extra significance because it came during the peak of Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi and Mourinho vs. Guardiola. Ronaldo's famous goal at Camp Nou in April 2012, a 2–1 victory over Barcelona, effectively put Madrid in control of the title race.
In short: 2011/12 Real Madrid was a devastating, high-scoring Mourinho team built around Ronaldo's finishing, Özil's creativity, Alonso's control, the Benzema/Higuaín partnership, and an elite defensive core of Casillas, Ramos, Pepe and Marcelo. It remains one of the strongest league teams Madrid have ever produced.

You have 7 days from delivery to request a return. The shirt must come back unworn and in the same condition it was sent, with all tags intact. Return postage is paid by the buyer. Once the shirt is received and checked, we refund the full purchase price. We do not accept refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing. We check construction, neck and wash labels, stitching, sponsor and badge application, and the manufacturer product code against period-correct examples. Only shirts that pass are photographed, graded and added to the Vault. If a shirt is not an authentic original, we do not sell it.
Condition and sizing
These shirts are vintage, aged and normally used, so they will almost always show some degree of wear. Each listing carries a condition grade out of ten and any notable fault is called out in the description. Sizing on older shirts differs from modern sizing — always go by the pit-to-pit and length measurements listed, not the size on the label.
