History
The 2023/24 season was another historic campaign for Manchester City F.C. under Pep Guardiola.
Premier League: Champions — City won their fourth consecutive league title, becoming the first English men's team to achieve that. They finished on 91 points, two ahead of Arsenal.
UEFA Champions League: Quarter-finals — City topped their group after winning all six group matches before being eliminated by Real Madrid on penalties in the quarter-final.
FA Cup: Runners-up — City lost 2–1 to Manchester United in the final.
Carabao Cup: Third round — eliminated by Newcastle United.
UEFA Super Cup: Winners — beat Sevilla on penalties following a 1–1 draw.
FIFA Club World Cup: Winners — beat Fluminense 4–0 in the final, City's first Club World Cup.
City scored 149 goals in all competitions, including 96 in the Premier League.
Key players
Erling Haaland — 27 Premier League goals and the Golden Boot for the second successive season.
Phil Foden — enjoyed his breakthrough superstar season, scoring 19 Premier League goals and winning the Premier League Player of the Season, PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year awards.
