History
2020 in context
The Netherlands entered 2020 as a team rebuilding after missing the 2018 World Cup. Under Ronald Koeman, they had reached the 2019 UEFA Nations League final, but Koeman left in August 2020 to become Barcelona manager. Frank de Boer subsequently took charge.
The COVID-19 pandemic meant that Euro 2020 was postponed until 2021, so the Netherlands' main competitive football in calendar year 2020 was the UEFA Nations League. The new Nike kit was introduced in September 2020, initially for the Nations League matches against Poland and Italy.
The Netherlands finished second in Nations League Group A1, behind Italy, with Poland and Bosnia & Herzegovina also in the group.
Key players
Virgil van Dijk — Liverpool centre-back and captain; the defensive leader of the team. He missed Euro 2020 through injury, but was central to the Netherlands side during 2020.
Frenkie de Jong — Barcelona midfielder and one of the team's principal ball-progressors.
Georginio Wijnaldum — Liverpool midfielder and captain during Euro 2020; an important goalscoring midfielder for Oranje. UEFA identified him as one of the team's key players.

Only shirts that pass are photographed, graded and added to the Vault. If a shirt is not an authentic original, we do not sell it.
Condition and sizing
These shirts are vintage, aged and normally used, so they will almost always show some degree of wear. Each listing carries a condition grade out of ten and any notable fault is called out in the description. Sizing on older shirts differs from modern sizing — always go by the pit-to-pit and length measurements listed, not the size on the label.
