History
2018/19 season
The 2018/19 season was Thomas Tuchel's first season as PSG manager, replacing Unai Emery.
PSG dominated domestically and won Ligue 1, finishing first with 91 points. They also won the Trophée des Champions.
PSG's Champions League campaign ended in particularly dramatic fashion. They won 2–0 away to Manchester United in the first leg, but United won the return match 3–1 in Paris, advancing on away goals.
Key players
Kylian Mbappé — the outstanding scorer, with 39 goals in all competitions and 33 in Ligue 1.
Neymar — scored 23 goals despite playing only 28 matches, with injuries restricting his season.
Edinson Cavani — another 23-goal season and the club's established centre-forward.
Ángel Di María — had an excellent campaign, scoring 19 goals.
Marco Verratti — central to PSG's midfield.
Thiago Silva — captain and defensive leader.
Marquinhos — increasingly important in defence and midfield.

The Black Jordan Champions League Shirt
This is the very distinctive black PSG Champions League shirt from 2018/19.
It was significant because Jordan Brand supplied PSG's Champions League kit, while Nike continued to provide the club's regular domestic kits. The shirt was unveiled in September 2018 and made its competitive debut against Liverpool on 18 September 2018.
