History
York United finished fifth in the 2023 Canadian Premier League, with 38 points from 28 matches. They qualified for the playoffs but lost 1-0 to Pacific FC in the play-in round. In the Canadian Championship, they defeated Vancouver FC before losing 4-1 to the Vancouver Whitecaps in the quarter-finals.
Key players
Mo Babouli, Osaze De Rosario and Kevin Santos were the club's joint top scorers with six goals each. Other notable players included Isaiah Johnston, Max Ferrari and goalkeeper Niko Giantsopoulos.
The Shirt
This special-edition shirt celebrates Toronto's Church and Wellesley neighbourhood, widely known as the Gay Village, and its importance to the city's 2SLGBTQ+ community. The pastel geometric lines on the front represent the local street map, while the rainbow-coloured sleeve cuffs and hem celebrate Pride, diversity and inclusion. The club unveiled the shirt in May 2023 and wore it for its official Pride Game against Atlético Ottawa on 9 June.
The message on the lower back, “We Are Many, We Are One,” reinforces the shirt's theme of unity. Its unusual white base, centred York United crest and colourful detailing make it a memorable special-edition release rather than a conventional team strip.

Returns
You have 7 days from delivery to request a return. The shirt must come back unworn and in the same condition it was sent, with all tags intact. Return postage is paid by the buyer. Once the shirt is received and checked, we refund the full purchase price. We do not accept refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing.
