History
The 2006/07 season was one of the most dramatic in Real Madrid's history. Under returning manager Fabio Capello, Madrid fought back from behind to win La Liga on the final day, finishing level on points with Barcelona but taking the title on their head-to-head record. It was the club's 30th league championship.
Ruud van Nistelrooy led the attack with 25 league goals, while a late-season surge saw Madrid secure the title. The club also reached the last 16 of the Champions League and Copa del Rey, making the league triumph the defining achievement of the campaign.
Key players
Robinho – The Brazilian forward whose flair, close control and attacking creativity made him a popular figure. He scored six league goals during the title-winning season.

The Shirt
This Adidas home shirt is a classic of the mid-2000s, featuring the traditional white base with black shoulder stripes, fine black piping and grey side panels.
