History
The United States enjoyed a memorable 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign in South Africa under coach Bob Bradley. They drew 1–1 with England and 2–2 with Slovenia before Landon Donovan scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner against Algeria, sending the USA through to the knockout stage as Group C winners. Their tournament ended in the Round of 16 with a 2–1 extra-time defeat to Ghana.

The Shirt
Nike's USA 2010 home shirt was designed for the 2010 World Cup and inspired by the United States' famous 1–0 victory over England at the 1950 World Cup. The white shirt features a tonal grey diagonal sash across the front, an obsidian-blue round collar and red, white and blue details. The back of the neck carries a USA graphic, while the inside includes a rattlesnake motif and the patriotic message “Don't Tread On Me”.
The shirt was also notable for its construction: Nike stated that it was made entirely from recycled polyester, with each jersey using material derived from up to eight recycled plastic bottles. Its distinctive sash design makes it a recognisable piece of USA football history from the South Africa 2010 tournament.
