History
The 2017/18 season was another historic campaign for Real Madrid under manager Zinedine Zidane. Although Madrid finished 3rd in La Liga and were knocked out of the Copa del Rey in the quarter-finals, their European campaign proved exceptional.
Real Madrid progressed through the UEFA Champions League knockout stages by defeating Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich before reaching the final against Liverpool in Kyiv.
Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the final to win the Champions League for the third consecutive season and their 13th European Cup overall. Gareth Bale scored twice, including a spectacular overhead kick, while Karim Benzema also scored.
The achievement made Real Madrid the first club to win the Champions League three consecutive times in the modern era. Zidane left the club shortly after the final, having secured his third successive European title as manager.

2017/18 Away Shirt
The Real Madrid 2017/18 away shirt was produced by Adidas in black with distinctive turquoise detailing. The turquoise colour was used for the Adidas branding, three stripes, cuffs and the monochrome Real Madrid crest.
The shirt featured Adidas Climacool technology and a clean, modern design inspired by previous successful black Real Madrid away kits. The white Fly Emirates sponsor provided a strong contrast against the black base.
The shirt is particularly significant to collectors because it was worn during Real Madrid's historic Champions League triumph in Kyiv, completing an unprecedented three consecutive European titles.
