History
The 2016/17 season was José Mourinho's first season as Manchester United manager. United finished 6th in the Premier League, but it was a successful cup season, winning three trophies:
FA Community Shield — beat Leicester City 2–1
EFL Cup — beat Southampton 3–2 in the final
UEFA Europa League — beat Ajax 2–0 in the final
Premier League: 6th
FA Cup: Quarter-finals
The Europa League victory was particularly significant: United won their first Europa League title, with Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan scoring in the final.
It was also Wayne Rooney's final season at Manchester United. He left the club as its all-time leading goalscorer at the time.
Key players
Zlatan Ibrahimović — The main attacking figure, scoring 28 goals in all competitions despite missing the end of the season through injury.
Paul Pogba — Returned to United from Juventus for a then-world-record transfer fee and became a central midfielder for Mourinho. He scored in the Europa League final.

2016/17 Away Shirt
It was inspired by United's famous 1968 European Cup final all-blue kit, when United beat Benfica at Wembley. The 2016/17 version was officially described as collegiate blue, with a distinctive dark-blue mélange effect. Red was used for the Adidas logo and shoulder stripes

These shirts are vintage, aged and normally used, so they will almost always show some degree of wear. Sizing on older shirts differs from modern sizing — always go by the pit-to-pit and length measurements listed, not the size on the label.
