History
The 2015/16 season marked Manchester United's return to Adidas after 13 seasons with Nike, beginning a new ten-year kit partnership. Managed by Louis van Gaal, United finished fifth in the Premier League and reached the UEFA Champions League group stage before dropping into the Europa League, where they were eliminated by Liverpool. The campaign ended on a high with victory in the FA Cup final, as United beat Crystal Palace 2–1 after extra time at Wembley. Jesse Lingard scored the decisive goal, securing the club's first FA Cup since 2004.

The Shirt
This Manchester United home shirt was the first Adidas home design following the manufacturer's return to the club in 2015. Inspired by classic United kits from the 1980s, it features a traditional red body, a white V-neck collar with black detailing, white sleeve cuffs and the iconic three Adidas shoulder stripes. A subtle graphic at the hem draws inspiration from the shirt worn by Ryan Giggs during his debut season in 1990/91. With its clean, traditional look, the design marked the beginning of a new era for United and remains a distinctive shirt from the club's modern history.
