History
The 2022/23 season was a memorable campaign for Santos Laguna, with the club competing in both the Apertura 2022 and Clausura 2023 tournaments. Santos made an excellent start to the season, finishing 3rd in the Apertura 2022 regular-season table with 33 points after winning 10 of their 17 matches.
The strong Apertura campaign earned Santos a direct place in the quarter-finals, where they faced Toluca. Santos lost the first leg 4-3 away from home before winning the second leg 2-1 at home, but Toluca progressed after winning the tie 5-4 on aggregate.
In the Clausura 2023, Santos finished 13th in the regular-season table but secured a place in the playoffs through the reclassification round. They defeated Pachuca on penalties before facing Monterrey in the quarter-finals. After a 0-0 draw in the first leg, Santos lost 2-0 away in the second leg and were eliminated.
Across the 2022/23 Liga MX season, Santos Laguna finished 8th overall, scoring 61 goals. The campaign was notable for the attacking contribution of Harold Preciado and Juan Brunetta, while goalkeeper Carlos Acevedo and young defender Omar Campos were important figures throughout the season.

The shirt features a distinctive green V-neck collar, while black detailing is used for the cuffs and sponsor logos. The Charly logo appears on the chest and sleeves alongside the Santos Laguna club crest, while the numerous sponsors reflect the commercial design of Mexican football shirts.
A stylised Santos Laguna "S" with a halo is incorporated into the fabric near the lower hem as a subtle embossed detail.
