History
Mexico entered the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar under manager Gerardo Martino, drawn in Group C alongside Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia. After opening with a goalless draw against Poland, Mexico lost 2–0 to Argentina before beating Saudi Arabia 2–1 in their final group match. Despite that victory, Mexico were eliminated on goal difference, finishing third in the group and missing the knockout stage for the first time since 1978, excluding the 1982 and 1990 tournaments for which they did not qualify. It was a disappointing end to a run of seven consecutive World Cups in which Mexico had reached the Round of 16.

Adidas’s Mexico 2022 home shirt returned to the national team’s traditional green, with a striking design inspired by Quetzalcóatl, the feathered serpent deity of Mesoamerican mythology. The intricate tonal artwork references the figure’s feathered headdress and serpent-like body, bringing Mexican cultural heritage into the kit’s visual design. The shirt features the national team crest, Adidas branding and the tournament-era design details associated with Mexico’s campaign in Qatar. Made with recycled polyester and Adidas AEROREADY moisture-management technology, it combines performance features with a strong cultural theme. Although Mexico’s World Cup ended in the group stage, this shirt remains closely associated with the 2022 tournament and the team’s traditional green identity.

You have 7 days from delivery to request a return. The shirt must come back unworn and in the same condition it was sent, with all tags intact. Return postage is paid by the buyer.
