History
The 2004/05 season marked Leeds United’s first campaign in the Championship following relegation from the Premier League after 14 consecutive seasons in the top flight. Managed by Kevin Blackwell, Leeds finished 14th in the table as the club began rebuilding and adapting to life in the second tier. Despite the disappointment of relegation, Elland Road remained a major stage for the club’s loyal supporters, with Leeds working towards a return to the Premier League.
Key players
David Healy – The Northern Irish forward finished as Leeds’ joint top scorer in all competitions, with seven goals.
Aaron Lennon – The exciting young winger showcased his pace and attacking potential before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in January 2005.
Frazer Richardson – The versatile defender featured during a transitional period for the club and became a familiar face in the Leeds squad.
Paul Butler – The experienced defender provided leadership and defensive experience during Leeds’ first season back in the Championship.

The classic white design is complemented by navy and yellow detailing, with the club crest and Diadora branding giving the shirt its distinctive early-2000s look. The Whyte & Mackay sponsor across the front completes the original design.
Diadora supplied Leeds United for just one season, making this shirt a distinctive part of the club’s kit history.
