History
Chelsea enjoyed one of the greatest seasons in their history in 2009/10 under Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti. The Blues won the Premier League title with 86 points, finishing one point ahead of Manchester United, and lifted the FA Cup to complete the club's first-ever league and cup double. They scored a remarkable 103 league goals, becoming the first team in Premier League history to reach 100 goals in a 38-game season. Didier Drogba finished as the league's top scorer with 29 goals, while Chelsea also won the FA Community Shield at the start of the campaign.

The Shirt
Adidas's Chelsea 2009/10 home shirt uses the club's traditional Reflex Blue, with white Adidas three-stripe detailing across the shoulders and sleeves. Subtle layered chest panels give the shirt a contemporary look, while the crew-neck collar features distinctive rubber piping with “Chelsea FC” lettering. Adidas's Formotion construction and Climacool fabric were designed to improve movement and ventilation on the pitch. The Samsung sponsor across the chest completes the classic look.
This shirt is closely associated with Chelsea's historic Premier League and FA Cup double. It represents the Carlo Ancelotti era, when the team combined attacking football with a powerful squad featuring Drogba, Lampard and Terry.
